Hiring: Retail and Visual Merchandising Associate (Full Time)

As part of our sustainability approach, we strive to design wearables that one could reach for over and over again, appreciating each pieces and creating memories with it. 

We are looking for a Retail and Visual Merchandising Associate to join us on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in supporting the brand's growth and elevating it's offline experience through engaging our customers, planning and executing thoughtful visual merchandising display in accordance to the brand’s aesthetics.

Responsibilities

Visual Merchandising:

-- Conceptualising, planning and executing seasonal visual merchandising in store and window displays in accordance to the brand’s aesthetics.
-- Source, obtain and responsible for the VM and display installation props and materials, and ensure all unused fixtures are kept aside neatly to prevent damage or hazard to staff and customers
-- Work with the retail and inventory teams to control inventory levels,  allocations and replenishment to make sure stock is in the right place at the right time to drive the highest sell through and maximise gross margin.
-- Provide detailed hindsight on category performance working alongside the Design team to identify opportunities to improve future assortments.
-- Monitor industry trends and competitior activities
-- Be involved in other ad-hoc special projects, pop-ups, duties and assignments

Retail:

-- Provide recommendation of products and styling advice to customers at store
-- Oversee store operations: Opening and closing duties, Inventory management, Cashiering, customer service, sales reporting, returns and transfers
-- Be involved in execution of all in-store activities and campaigns
-- Monitor industry trends and competitior activities
-- Be involved in other ad-hoc special projects, pop-ups, duties and assignments

Requirements

-- Diploma or degree in Arts, Visual Communications, Visual Merchandising, Fashion Merchandising or other relevant design-related field
-- Dependable team player who can work independently and proactively
-- A creative thinker with a strong eye in design and space composition, and visual aesthetics
-- Ability to be adapt, multi-task and possesses good problem-solving skills
-- Meticulous and possesses a good time management skills
-- A curious and an open-minded individual who can think out of the box and is not afraid to try new things
-- Excellent written and spoken English
-- Understands the GENUE's aesthetics and values
-- Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents only
